Detailed description Cricket is a codified team sport in the United Kingdom. It is popular in the Commonwealth countries, where it is one of the major summer sports. Cricket is played between two teams of eleven players, on an oval field usually turf, which measures 135 meters by 150 PSL T20 2018 SCHEDULE . The teams are normally composed of players with complementary qualities: some are rather drummers, others rather pitchers some are comfortable in both positions. Finally, the goalkeeper behind the box office, with special protective equipment, is often a separate player. In the middle of the field, there is a rectangular surface, whose grass is cut shorter. It's wicket, or square or pitch. At each end of the pitch is a group of three stumps, close enough to one another so that the ball can not pass between them. The stakes are surmounted by two witnesses (bails). The whole forms a wicket (wicket, not to be confused with the word synonymous with pitch). The distance between t...

The definition of a ball out of range

Image
Counting points • A ball thrown out of reach of the drummer is declared wide ball if the batter did not succeed in touching it. The definition of a ball out of range is stricter for a limited-dress match. The penalty of a wide ball is also one point. In addition, the ball does not count in the count of throws of the sleeve.  • If the drummer fails to return the ball (without being out of range) and the goalkeeper does not succeed, the drummer can start running. • If the ball hits the drummer himself (leg before wicket), the drummer can start running. • If the ball is lost, one of the hunters must declare it. If the referee confirms that the ball is lost, the team at bat scores six points. The thing rarely happens in international cricket. The rule is rather designed for amateur grounds, with trees or bushes. • The referee is free to give five points of penalty to a team guilty of certain misconduct, among which: intentional slowing of the game, intentional degradation o...

Rules for Drummers out

 • Timed out: if the new drummer takes more than two minutes to take his position, after the previous drummer has been out. This has never happened in the history of test cricket. Finally, a player may be "retired, not out" (or "removed for injury") Worth of every team in psl . He can choose to return to the field after treatment, in which case he must wait for one of his comrades to be declared out of play. It is up to the referee to allow the player to retire for injury. If the player continues to want to leave the game, he can do so, but will be declared permanently out of play and can not return to the field. In the following cases: bowled, leg before wicket, caught, stumped, and hit wicket, the drummer is declared out of play only if the ball is judged valid by the referee. If this is not the case (no ball), he continues to batter. In the case of run out, handled the ball, hit the ball twice, obstructing the field and timed out, the drummer is declared out of ...

Drummers out

The drummer can be released in different ways. • Bowled: The thrower has managed to destroy the wicket (knock down at least one of the witnesses) of the drummer. It does not matter if it's the bullet that has destroyed the wicket or the drummer himself, wanting to protect his wicket. • Caught: if one of the hunters (field players) or the pitcher intercepts the ball hit by the batter, before it hits the ground. • Stumped: if the keeper of the wicket (located behind it) destroys the wicket with the ball, while the batter has crossed the line to play the ball. • Run out: A hunter (field player) destroys the wicket with the ball while the two drummers complete their runs. This is the closest to the destroyed box that is declared out of play (except of course if it is inside the line).  • Leg before wicket or LBW: if the drummer obstructs the destruction of the wicket with his body (not necessarily the legs). It does not matter whether the obstruction is voluntary or not. It ...

Counting points

here are several ways to score points. A drummer who scores himself 100 points in a heat is said to have scored one hundred (century), which is not negligible in cricket  PSL MATCH TIMING 2018 . In the same way, players can score double, triple, quadruple (which has never happened in test cricket) or even five times (which happened once in first class cricket). The drummer can thus mark: • Whenever the two drummers exchange their positions, before destroying the wicket, the drummer who hit the ball scores a point. If only one exchange of positions takes place on the ball, then it is a single (single point). For two exchanges, it's a double, three exchanges, a triple. There is no particular name for more than three exchanges on a ball. • if the ball goes out of bounds, and if she hit the ground before going out, four points are scored. This is called a four. If the ball did not touch the ground before going out, 6 points are scored. Logically, it's a six. Points may also be...

Rules of cricket

Cricket rules are codified by the Marylebone Cricket Club (aka MCC), one of the governing bodies of cricket, and published in 1775. They standardize the conduct and correction of meetings in two periods around the world. The rules have changed a lot since the eighteenth century, but the following points remain the same:  • choice of the first team to batter: flip-flop draw • pitch dimensions and placement of the line in front of the wicket (popping crease)  • dimensions of the pegs and witnesses  • weight of the ball • number of throws per round • rule of no ball (illegal throw)  • rules of the drummer  • time allotted to the drummer to replace the previous drummer The Rules strictly speaking include a preface, a preamble , a corpus of 42 rules and four appendices. The preface deals with MCC and the history of rules. The preamble is a recent addition to the spirit of the game. He has been added to the Rules to prevent the development of non-spo...
